Basic Functions
The Test Coordinator designs, implements, and manages Aviation Institute academic testing requirements.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Duties/responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and assess manual and automated test content for students in an Academia environment.
- Responsible for maintaining and implementing all testing within the Aviation Institute.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures related to test scheduling, control, validation, archiving, and management.
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure curriculum materials meet established standards and requirements. Identify and address any errors, inconsistencies, or gaps in the content, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness for the target audience.
- Effective communication with Instructors and MNG as needed.
- Compile, distribute, and take possession of printed testing materials, ensuring the accuracy of the testing material at each stage.
- Perform other duties as assigned and/or directed by the supervisor and/or management.
Provide test results, feedback, and recommendations as needed.
B. Independence: Reports to the Aviation Institute Training Manager. Works within the scope and guidelines of customer/client regulations

Minimum Qualifications
- Education Level:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in education or computer science preferred.
- Minimum five years experience in eLearning, education, or training management.
- Diverse computer skills, an expert in MS Office suite, proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, MS Access, and SharePoint, and working knowledge in eLearning and LMS software.
- Preferred experience evaluating and testing educational materials and understanding DLI requirements.
C. Specific knowledge, skills, and ability: Demonstrate a strong understanding of automated testing framework, development, and implementation. Ability to create and visualize content for various delivery formats. Highly organized, goal-oriented, and collaborative. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery. Expertise in curriculum development, data management, security, and academic examination development. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal effectively with people in the completion of staff functions. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer/client professionally and courteously. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to problem solve and understand basic mathematics in a testing environment. Possess a valid driver’s license.
