As this role, Physics engineer works in a R&D team to support MI (Molecular Imaging systems, e.g. PET/CT) product for China market. This position has design responsibilities to localize the global PETCT products, integrate & validate a functional prototype to deliver the desired workflow, features & functionalities, and accelerate the NMPA registration. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work as a technical expert for physics simulation, calibration, correction, reconstructions and post-processing algorithms development, image quality improvement, dose assessment and system quality assurance / regulatory compliance
- Develop simulation/modeling/analysis/prototyping approaches to determine, optimize and evaluate Work as a technical expert in PET system scanning imaging techniques developing and physics parameter determination/optimization with system simulating/modeling/prototyping
- Be responsible for Provide image and dose related technical support for PET product maintenance regarding to system image/dose behavior, including technical support, trouble shooting and problem solving, to both internal and external customers
- Initiate the system design, documentation, and review according to R&D process.
Required Qualifications
- Ph. D. or Master’s degree in physics, biomedical engineering or other disciplines related to X-ray/gamma ray generation, transportation, transformation and interaction in matters, radiation detection, image formation and reconstruction.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, proactive, quick learning ability and good teamwork.
- Ability to work within a cross functional organization with good communication skills.
- Systematically problem analyzing and solving, systematic and structured working style.
- Strong background in scientific computing/system modeling/data analyzing, familiar with math / programming tools like Matlab, Python, c/c++ etc.
- Knowledge of biomedical signal acquisition/ processing, image analysis and processing, especially in the field of medical imaging field(for medical image preferred), is a plus
- Knowledge of photon/high energy particle detection technology (applied for medical imaging preferred)
- Knowledge of interaction mechanisms between photon/particle with materials (for medical imaging application preferred)
- Knowledge and experience Knowledge and experience of image reconstruction/analysis
- Clinical experience in diagnostic imaging, particularly PET imaging, is a plus
