The Electronic Senior Engineer manage all maintenance activities for automated material handling equipment in warehouses and distribution centers to ensure system availability and reliability, using complex troubleshooting and problem solving with an array of technical tools and analysis skills. The role requires to manage the automated system ,planned maintenance, attend and supervise corrective maintenance jobs, identify issues before arising by doing routinely check, actively communicate with the end user to ensure proper system usage, supervise contractors for repair jobs and projects implementations.
Accountabilities
Essential Function:
- Ensure Automation System reliability by programming modifications of, troubleshooting and repairing interface between Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and Material Flow System (MFS) to keep high system uptime and availability.
- Program modifications of, troubleshoot and repair sensors, scanners, visualization systems, motors, frequency inverters and encoders to keep high system uptime and availability.
- Lead the Identification of root cause of faults and production errors by using RCA techniques and present practical technical solutions
- Manage the work with Onsite staff and software developers to ensure maximum system uptime.
- Analyzes system daily operation reports and design test scenarios to track and identify issues and opportunities for continued improvement.
- Ensure End User capability by providing operational system training to increase system knowledge, resolve issues and prevent issues from recurring, and update system manuals.
- Updates help-desk ticketing system to track, monitor and resolve issues for system reliability and high uptime.
- Supervise external suppliers/subcontractors required for repair jobs and projects to improve system reliability.
- Monitors automated system machine performance metrics using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software), and ensure timely preventive maintenance to increase system availability, reliability and performance.
- Attends and participates in meetings and provide insights in problem solving and continuous improvements
- Present whenever the system requires for extended hours, weekend, and holiday work in support of customer service and change requests.
- Collaborate with other MHE engineers for assure 360 synergy & reach the operation full capacity.
- Ensure the availability of all required electrical and electronic system’s spare parts using by updating CMMS
Employee’s duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- +3 years of experience in equipment and machine maintenance
- +2 years of experience with PLC, .net, Siemens S7 PLC.
Computer & Technical skills
- MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of controlled drive engineering, or multi-axis positioning.
- Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles, motors, drivers, belts and bearings.
- Familiarity with automation technology, e.g. conveyors, automated cranes, packaging technology.
- Knowledge of bus systems, e.g. Ethernet, ASI, Profibus
- Willingness and ability to work off shifts and weekends based on our customers’ business needs.
- Experience with AUTOCAD or E-Plan is a plus.
